ingredients are all you
need for Khanh’s garden-
fresh appetizers.
BRUSCHETTA Brush slices of crusty Italian
or French bread w
ith a little olive oil. Add
thinly sliced or chopped fresh tomatoes, a
little salt, and a few
shavings of Parmesan
cheese, then place under the broiler for a
few
seconds. STACKED DECK Slice your
favorite varieties of red, green, and yellow
tomatoes and stack them
up w
ith layers of
fresh mozzarella cheese and basil leaves.
Drizzle w
ith good-quality olive oil and a few
shakes of pepper. VERY CHERRY SALAD
Make a dressing w
ith your favorite vinegar
(or fresh-squeezed citrus juices) and olive
oil. Toss w
ith a variety of heirloom
cherry
tomatoes that have been blanched and
peeled. Salt and pepper to taste, and enjoy.
